With hunger rates rising in many parts of Yemen and food prices increasing, the Foundation is working to provide food to the most vulnerable groups and protect them from the risks of hunger and malnutrition through short- and long-term food aid projects. These include the distribution of food baskets and hot meals, cash assistance, and other forms of aid. The focus is not only on food distribution, but also on ensuring its sustainability by supporting agricultural projects and livestock breeding, and empowering communities to produce their own food as part of the empowerment and livelihoods program to contribute to the sustainability of food security for these families.
