Taizz – March 2025:
Al-Hdaya Charity Developmental Foundation, with generous support from the State of Kuwait through Tarahom Charity and Humanitarian Society, launched the Ramadan Food Baskets Distribution Project (“Ramadan Food Baskets Distribution Project – Yemen”) in March 2025, targeting 1,731 vulnerable and displaced families (10,418 individuals) across four governorates: Taizz, Marib, Lahj, and Hadhramaut.
The project encompassed distributing 1,731 comprehensive food baskets containing essential nutritional supplies to meet urgent dietary needs during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative aims to secure daily essential needs, alleviate severe financial burdens on impoverished households, promote household food security, and preserve beneficiary dignity.
Conducted in March 2025, this humanitarian intervention falls under the foundation’s Food Security and seasonal response programs, dedicated to delivering critical food assistance to vulnerable displaced populations and host communities across Yemen.
