Restoring Sight and Preventing Visual Disabilities.. Launching Eye Surgeries Project for Vulnerable Patients in Taizz

Taizz – November 2024:

Al-Hdaya Charity Developmental Foundation, with generous support from the State of Kuwait through Basaer Charity Association, implemented a specialized surgical eye intervention project (“Basar” Eye Project) to provide crucial surgeries for vulnerable eye patients in Taizz Governorate.

The project aims to significantly enhance the quality of life for targeted patients, enabling them to restore their sight and reintegrate into society. It also eases severe financial hardships and healthcare burdens on vulnerable families, while actively reducing the incidence of permanent visual impairment caused by delayed or unavailable specialized medical care.

Conducted in November 2024, this healthcare initiative falls under the foundation’s vital Health and Nutrition interventions, designed to strengthen the humanitarian response and provide specialized medical treatments to underserved communities unable to afford surgical costs.
