Al-Hudaydah – February 2024:
Al-Hdaya Charity Developmental Foundation, with generous support from the State of Kuwait, inaugurated the drilling and operation of an 80-meter solar-powered artesian well project in Rabaa Al-Hadhrami village, Hays District, Al-Hudaydah Governorate.
The project aims to provide sustainable supplies of safe and clean drinking water to hundreds of households in the village and surrounding water-scarce areas. This intervention significantly alleviates the daily burden and physical hardship of fetching water from distant locations, reduces economic costs, and enhances community health and stability.
Implemented in February 2024, this project is part of the foundation’s vital Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs within its humanitarian response, dedicated to establishing sustainable water infrastructure for vulnerable communities.
